Recording 2
My initial expectations when we first started Spanish was that it would be hard learning a new language. I understand tagalog which is the main language in the Philippines, and it's similar to Spanish, so I knew some of the words like baño, puedo, apellido, etc. But it's still challenging to learn because it's not all the same. I rate my enthusiasm for Spanish a 5 because I'm kind of excited to learn Spanish, but I'm also worried that I might not do good in the class because the tests and recordings are kind of challenging. What I am looking forward to learning in this class is the language in general because lots of people use it. Some improvements from the first recording was that I knew and used more phrases and actually knew what I was talking about instead of memorizing it. Also our video was longer. My areas of growth is learning all the phrases we recently learned and practicing more because I haven't been practicing outside of school. I think I'm going to speak Spanish with more ease by practicing more daily and maybe it'll flow better and more naturally when I speak as I get used to it.
